hey all i have been extremly busy with this project. the past week i have done a photoshoot, designed a rough draft of the cd, and cd cover. i still need to finish the booklet, and a couple things on the website. here is my progress with the cd.

Great use of screen shots to document your production process (this works really well with clients because they love "seeing" the tools you used to create their product). On the CD, the image of the musicians looks compressed (squished from top to bottom). Change the font of Morning Dew to match the font of the CD cover (keep the branding consistent).
ReplyDeleteOn the CD Cover, you are on the right track but is there any way to take a SUPER close-up on the dew drops? Try a different angle (as if the dew drops were "mountains"). Or, drape the leaf over the body of a guitar... keep pushing the image... try the unexpected.
actually i met with the band recently and they werent nuts about the cover. they gave me a few ideas to change instesad of the leaf. i will post it either tonight or tomorrow to show you what they are looking for.
